Foundation
In het verleden was de meest voorkomende term voor foundation gewoon make-up. Tegenwoordig wordt de term make-up algemeen gebruikt voor make-up en omvat het het hele repertoire. Foundation is de vloeibare kleur die als basis wordt aangebracht. Je kunt het gebruiken om bultjes en roodheid aan het begin van je make-uproutine te bedekken. Foundation, om het letterlijk te vertalen, betekent ook "basis" of "grondlaag".
